Little Journeys Table

The Stickley Roycroft Little Journeys table reflects the early Arts and Crafts ideals that helped define Stickley’s legacy. Inspired by the Little Journeys book series published by Elbert Hubbard, this table draws from Roycroft design principles that value honest materials, thoughtful proportions, and lasting construction. As a result, it works beautifully in living rooms, reading areas, bedrooms, and offices.

Stickley crafts the Roycroft Little Journeys table in the USA using solid oak and traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. These construction methods create strength and stability while allowing the natural wood grain to stand out. In addition, quarter-sawn oak surfaces add visual depth and help ensure long-term durability. Because of this careful craftsmanship, the table holds up well to everyday use.

The table offers a generous top surface along with two open undertier shelves. This layout provides practical space for books, décor, or a table lamp. At the same time, the compact footprint makes the table easy to place beside a sofa, next to a chair, or in a hallway. Its balanced proportions keep the piece functional without overwhelming the room.

Available in select Stickley finishes, the Roycroft Little Journeys table coordinates easily with other Mission and Arts and Crafts furniture. Furthermore, its clean lines allow it to blend with both traditional and transitional interiors. Over time, the solid wood construction develops character, adding warmth and authenticity to the space.
