| History of Noriega Furniture In 1948 a well established painter expanded his business to include carpet and appliance sales. As business increased, so did the post war demand for furniture. Noriega Furniture could no longer remain a one man operation. A search began for an associate familiar with the entire spectrum of business and a comprehensive knowledge of furniture. The search ended when Jerry Vorperian moved from Chicago to San Francisco to take control of the new furniture department. The year was 1953. For the following 45 years, Jerry nurtured Noriega Furniture into one of the finest furniture stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. With their excellent reputation and very capable design staff, clients nationally and internationally have enjoyed that "special touch" that comes with having their homes decorated by Noriega Furniture. 2007 marks the 59th anniversary of Noriega Furniture. We are still located in the Sunset District of San Francisco. |  |
